S1.E3 | Liturgy: ”For the Darkening of Days”

It's the third episode of Liturgical Shenanigans! We (your hosts) have been taking turns sharing liturgies that are of particular meaning to us as a way to introduce ourselves to you. We hope that this is a helpful way to get to know each of us and the way we approach liturgy, theology, and all of life. It is our longing to be building as a podcast and as Wayfolk Arts an accepting community of faithful artists and sojourners providing a harbor of rest, recovery, and re-centering along life’s many paths and journeys. So, welcome. We are so glad you are joining us on this journey.

This week, Jackson Nickolay shares a liturgical shenanigan he wrote titled: “For the Darkening of Days.” If you would like to read along with us you can access the full liturgy here: https://wayfolkarts.com/blog/liturgy-of-the-month-a-liturgy-for-the-darkening-of-days

Please feel free to use this liturgy to ritualize the darkening of days in your own contexts. And let us know if you do! How did it go? What did you love? What did you change? We'd love to see pictures.

You can engage with us on Instagram by following @WayfolkArts, our  Facebook page Waylfolk Arts or by visiting our website: http://www.wayfolkarts.com

Good news! Our conversation about Jackson's liturgy did not stop at the end of this official episode. You can hear our extended conversation if you are part of our Wayfolk Arts Patreon community! As a patron, you are granted access to a wider range of resources and community building opportunities with Wayfolk Arts. We would love for you to join us. Join us for our next podcast on Wednesday, November 16, for more conversation on life and liturgy.
